CLbiophoto130121I’m Treiskitt aka Bucky Roo, Buckuss Roouss and a thousand others! My mom just loves “baby talk,” don’t ask. Cathy is our hospital manager, creative genius and “jack of all trades” in the veterinary industry for twenty one years and is thrilled to be back at home in Pen Argyl catering to our previous clientele. It was her idea to put my dad on all the billboards and isn’t he good looking? You will also see him and my brother Tetley on the placemats at Detzi’s too. My mom and dad reside with my other two rescued brothers JuJuBe and Jelly, my oldest brother Shandy grew his angel wings on Jan 20, 2012. We still miss him. When Cathy is not busy running things at the office she enjoys cooking, theater, scrapbooking, marketing, crafting anything artsy and her cats. She is very proud of her dedicated and hardworking staff at the hospital and invites any newcomer to the facility for a hearty welcome and tour. Stop in today.

Our names are Lilly (the black one) and Layla (the brown one). We’re Labrador mixes that are loved very dearly by our mom, Rebecca. There’s also a cat named Pumba somewhere around here too. We love to hike and swim in the summertime with our mom and brother, Keegan (you can see him in the picture with us, isn’t he ADORABLE?!) In the winter, you can find us eating snow, or taking naps on the couch. Our mom went to school to be a Certified Veterinary Technician, and she keeps a very close eye on us from nose to tail. She’s worked for a number of different veterinarians over the years, so she has lots of knowledge and different ideas about our growing needs. She’s also passionate about nutrition, which is great because we LOVE to eat!

image013Let me introduce myself. My name is Ziggy. I’m the Miniature Australian Shepherd with the grey, black and white fur in the picture. My mom, Rhonda, calls me “handsome,” whatever that means? My mom shares her life with a couple other dogs, Secret , that mom adopted, Beanz, another handsome guy like myself, a short-legged corgi called Cooper, and a two legger she calls Brian. When she’s not at work, she likes to train us in the sports of Treibball and Rally Obedience. We compete in dog shows and I think I like them because Mom says she's proud of what we have done ( plus I get lots of yummy treats). We like when she takes us for long walks or lets us snuggle while she reads about animal behavior, mystery books, or doing work on the computer. While we don’t like when she leaves us to go to work, we understand that what she does is important. She helps the veterinarian (the man in the white coat that sticks us in the butt) make sick & injured pets feel better. She says she loves to meet the people who own them too. She did something on the computer that taught her some things to help the veterinarian. She used to work where homeless and injured animals go. Mom used to check on pets that were not being treated nice. We feel we are so lucky to have such a caring mom. Hey, we’ll share her with you & your pet!!

image017Lucky dog…that’s me. My name is Stevie and my human mom Tina and her family adopted me when I was small. Since then, I have to know she rescues the underdogs. My furry brother and sisters were adopted too. I also have two human sisters, Laney and Elizabeth who help take care of all of us. My human family is awesome! We are always playing and going for walks. My family loves me and all my siblings and I make sure to repay them with LOTS of kisses! When my mom is not with us, she is help other “furry kids” and their families. She must really love it, she’s been helping since 1995. She is happy being the care taker and leader of the whole pack.
